Yunnan province is the most southwest region of China. It has a diverse topography with twenty five different minorities living there. In addition to visiting Kunming, Lijiang, Zhongdian in Yunnan Province, you will tour Beijing, Shanghai and Suzou. (14 days, 13 nights)

Day 01: Arrive into Beijing. Our tour guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check in.
Day 02: Full day visit to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven. In the evening, you will enjoy a Beijing Duck dinner.
Day 03:  Day excursion to the Great Wall and Hutong tour to see the old Beijing neighborhood and local families by rickshaw ride.
Day 04: Depart Beijing to Kunming by morning flight. Tour guide will meet you at the airport.  Afterwards, take a city tour to West Hill, Dragon Grottos and Yunan Ethnic Village.
Day 05:  Day tour to Stone Forest – the famous karst limestone formation park.
Day 06:  Transfer to the airport for departure to Dali by morning flight (30 minutes). Upon arrival, tour Dali Ancient Town, Three Pagoda Temple, visit to Bai Minority Village and tie-dye workshop.
Day 07: Depart for Lijiang by car (180 km). The town is a largely Naxi settlement first built during the Southern Song Dynasty and was listed by the UNESCO on the list of the world's major cultural heritages in 1997.  You will visit Butterfly Spring on the way. Upon arrival, visit to Black Dragon Pool Park and Dayan Old Town. Enjoy a traditional Naxi Music show in the evening.
Day 08:  Day tour to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with cable car ride to the mountain peak, Yufeng Lama Temple and Ten Thousand Blossom Camellia Tree.
Day 09: Day excursion to Zhongdian. Drive to Shigu first to visit the first bend of the Yangtze River and Tiger Leaping Gorge.  Continue 105 km to Zhongdian (capital city of Deqen Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture) which is close to Tibet and known as Shangri-La, a hidden paradise in James Hilton’s 1993 novel, Lost Horizon. 
Day 10: Visit Ganden Songzanlin Monastery in the morning.  Afterwards,make an excursion to Nixi Village of Tibetan to observe the traditional way of making special black pottery by hand. Then visit a Tibetan family.  Late afternoon at leisure on own. Visit the old town and local market in Zhongdian.
Day 11: Transfer to Zhongdian Airport for flight to Kunming. Then, take connecting flight to Shanghai. Transfer to hotel upon arrival.
Day 12: Day tour to Jade Buddha Temple, Bund, Yu Garden, Shanghai Old Town and Shanghai Museum.  In the evening, you will enjoy an acrobatic show.
Day 13: Day tour to Suzhou by car. Visit to Lingering Garden, Panmen City Gate, boat ride on the Grand Cannel, and Embroidery Research Institute.  Return Shanghai in late afternoon.
Day 14:  Transfer to the airport and depart for USA.
