About Geringer Global Travel

Susan Geringer, founder and owner of Geringer Global Travel, is a passionate traveler with a deep love and appreciation for people and culture. She began traveling the world with her parents as a child in the late 1950s. Once she immersed herself in the Global Classroom, she has continued to explore the world.

Susan has spent the last eight years focusing on travel to Asia and the Indian subcontinent and on building her own knowledge, along with a network of experts and locals. She first visited India and Nepal in 1980. Since then she has traveled to Japan, Viet Nam, Cambodia, China, Nepal, Bhutan and India. Susan's continuous travels help her to find new destinations, accommodations, restaurants and hidden gems for her clients.

Susan can strongly recommend from her strong personal travel and experience. To understand a foreign culture, she feels there is nothing more important than one-on-one interaction with the local people for a chance to peek into or even join them in their everyday lives.

  • Meals with local people
  • Volunteer vacations
  • Arranged meetings with artists in their studios

These are all memories to treasure.

Or if you simply want to:

  • Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city
  • Get the chance to see animals in their natural habits
  • Stay at a great heritage hotel
  • Spend a night in a quaint fishing village and eat fresh seafood on the shore as the sun sets

These are all life experiences you won't forget.

Susan herself has not forgotten all of these wonderful experiences. She knows how to find these places and is ready to share her expertise.

Susan can arrange special custom tour packages with or without international flights. Custom vacation packages for groups can also be arranged.

Susan is a member of the India Ahoy Advisory Board, New York Chapter of ASTA. She is also on the Executive Board of the New York Chapter of PATA (Pacific Asian Travel Association).
